PAULINE FARMER
Pauline Farmer, 83, of Murphy died Saturday, October 30, 2004 in a Murphy care facility. A native of Port Jervis, NY, she grew up in Matamoras, PA and lived in Southington, CT and Florida before moving to Murphy ten years ago. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Wilhemina Neiman Toussaint. She retired after 40 years as a teacher and guidance counselor. She had been active in the Connecticut Education Association. Pauline was a member of the Saint William Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Kenneth C. Farmer; a daughter, Kathleen Thompson of St. Petersburg, FL; a son, Kenneth John Farmer of Ashburn, VA; a brother, Peter Toussaint of Matamoras, PA; and four grandsons and two great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM Tuesday (Nov. 2) in the Saint William Catholic Church with Father George Kloster officiating. Interment in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Hank Brouwer, Del Light, Bob Schmitt, Bob Sims, Don Skojac, and Frank Sommers.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday (Nov. 1) at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy.
