A native of Towns County, but she had grown up in Clay County before moving back to Towns County. She was the daughter of James R. McClure of Hiawassee, GA, and Patsy Henley Smith of Sophia, NC. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. Jamie enjoyed the outdoors. Surviving are a daughter, Heather Varner of Boone, NC; three sisters, Rhonda McClure, Marsha Woodmansee, and Tammy Schmidt, all of Sophia, NC. Funeral services at 2:00 PM Wednesday (Oct. 12) in the Chapel of the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville with Rev. Curtis Ledford officiating. Burial in the Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jack Bradshaw, Randy Hicks, Ethan Cantrell, and Randy McConnell. The family will receive friends from 12-1:45 Wednesday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville prior to the services. Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville in charge of arrangements. Remember
