A native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Harve and Abbie Jones Arrowood and the wife of the late Willard Dockery, who died October 8, 1999. She was a retired employee of Levi Strauss and was a member of the Bates Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Norma Jean Dockery of Murphy; four sons, Tommy Dockery and wife, Gail and Perry Lance and wife, Ann all of Murphy, Larry Dockery and wife, Terri of Greenback, WV, and Jim Lance and wife, Nadine of Marble; two sisters, Maggie Hall of Marble and Mary Lou Grippi of Nevada; three brothers, Hoyt Arrowood of Marble, W.C. Arrowoood of Marietta, GA, and Harry Arrowood of Alabama; and 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services at 11:00 AM Thursday (Oct. 27) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with the Revs. Roy Graves and Eddis Dockery officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Grandsons as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Wednesday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy. Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy in charge of all arrangements. Remember
