MARY SUE BRADBERRY
Mary Sue Bradberry, 94, of Murphy died Thursday (October 6, 2005) in a Murphy hospital. A native of Covington, TN, she had lived in Memphis, TN and Fort Myers, FL for most of her life before moving to Cherokee County in 1998. She was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Willie Jane Adams White and was the wife of the late Roy McBride Bradberry, who died April 26, 1991. She and her husband were co-owners and operators of several full-service service stations in Memphis and Fort Myers. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Memphis and the Murphy First Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and her Christian testimony greatly influences the lives of her entire family.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Joyce Ann Bradberry and Gloria Jean McRight and two sons, Roy Mack Bradberry and Gerald David Bradberry.
Surviving are a son, Michael C. Bradberry and wife, Martha of Murphy; a sister, Dorothy Riley of Memphis; and seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
Funeral services at 4:00 PM Sunday (October 9, 2005) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with the Rev. Robert Heard and Dr. Woodrow Busch officiating. Interment at 10:00 AM Tuesday (October 11) in the Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis.
The family will receive friends from 2-3:45 Sunday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy prior to the services.
