Ruby Latrell Ledford, 83, of Hayesville died Monday (October 17, 2005) in a Clay County care facility. A native of Pembroke, GA, she had lived in the Clay County area since 1966. She was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Esther Shuman Futch. She was a retired cook and homemaker. Ruby was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, H. David Ledford; two daughters, Faye Moore and Gail Burnsed both of Brunswick, GA; two sons, Howell David Ledford Jr. of Everett, WA and Arthur Cleveland Ledford of Hayesville; a sister, Mary Burnsed of Pembroke, GA; and seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great great grandchldren. Funeral services at 11:00 AM Friday (Oct. 21) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville with Dr. Chester Jones officiating. Burial in the Hayesville Baptist – Presbyterian Cemetery. Pallbearers: Robert Laney, Greg Pietz, Tracy Gibson, David and Arthur Ledford, and Mike Kephart. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville.
