A native of South Bend, IN, he had lived in Cherokee County for the past 20 years. He was the husband of the late Betty Chreist. Daniel had served in the US Navy and was a retired electrical engineer. Interment was held at 2:00 PM Thursday (Nov. 1) in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
