DEBORAH “Debbie” POWELL
 

Deborah “Debbie” Powell, 47, of Murphy died Thursday (October 25, 2007) at her residence.  A native of Summitt, NJ, she had lived most of her life in Miami, FL before moving to Cherokee County 12 years ago.  She was the daughter of the late Barbara Ann Mitchell Canham. Debbie was a homemaker and a member of the Ranger Baptist Church.
 
Surviving are her husband, Bruce K. Powell;  two sons, Kyle Edward Powell and Christopher Ryan Powell both of the home;  her father and step-mother, George and Delores Canham of Travelers Rest, SC; a sister, Christine Mott of Taylors, SC;  a brother, Jeffery Canham of Homestead, FL;  and the paternal grandmother, Claire Canham of Travelers Rest, SC.
 
Memorial services at 11:00 AM Monday (Oct. 29) in the Ranger Baptist Church with the Rev. L.B. Adams officiating.
 
The family will receive friends following the service at the Ranger Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of Deborah “Debbie” Powell.
