NELLIE SARVIS

Nellie Sarvis, 88, of Marble died Saturday (September 8, 2007) in a Murphy medical center. She was a native of Huntsville, AL, but had been living in Cherokee County since 1963. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Hattie Winkler Sledge. Nellie was a homemaker and was a member of the Andrews Church of God.

Surviving are her husband of 73 years, Thomas W. Sarvis, Jr.; a daughter, Nellie Marie Webster of Tampa, FL;  a son, Thomas Wesley Sarvis of Marble;  and four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services at 10:00 AM Wednesday (Sept. 12) in the Chapel of the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with Rev. Jack Simonds officiating. Interment in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
