ROLAND  SAMUELSON
 

Roland Samuelson, 84, of Andrews died Sunday (Sept. 30, 2007) in a Murphy care facility.  A native of Sweden, he was the son of the late Henning and Annie Nyh Samuelson. He was a veteran of WWII and Korea serving in the US Army.  After a military career, he was in the construction industry.  Roland was an Elk member and a member of the Andrews VFW Post 7620.  He was of the Methodist faith.
 
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Jacquelyn Lee Samuelson; a daughter, Terry Hubbell and husband, Jim of Lakeland, FL;  a sister, Marion DeTrude of Sonoma, CA;  two grandsons, Todd and Justin Stephens;  and a great granddaughter, Connor Stephens.
 
Graveside services at 2:00 PM Monday (Oct. 8) in the Lakeland Memorial Gardens in Lakeland, FL.
