HELEN PHILLIPS

Helen Phillips, 77, of Hayesville died Thursday, September 22, 2005 at her residence. A native of Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Bronce David and Omie Holden McClure and the wife of the late Charles W. Phillips who died July 23, 2002. She had been a dietician with the Cobb County School System before moving back to Clay County in 1984. Helen was a member of the Ledfords Chapel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, Chris William Phillips of Hayesville; and three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services at 2:00 PM Saturday (Sept. 24) in the Chapel of the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville with Rev. Jackie Sellers officiating. Burial in the Shooting Creek Church of God Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45 Saturday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville prior to the services.
