A native of Towns County, GA, she had lived in Clay County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late William Albert and Cordie Ann Maney Shook and the wife of the late Odus M. Eller, who died June 6, 2002. She was a homemaker and a member of Shooting Creek Church of God. She was preceded in death by a son, David Lyvonne Eller. Surviving are a daughter, Anna Chapman and husband, Clabe of Woodstock, GA; a sister, Hersie Wilson of Hiawassee, GA; a brother, Floyd Shook of Gainesville, GA; and two grandchildren, Samuel Eller and Amy Ahrens. Funeral services at 2:00 PM Saturday (Oct. 1) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville with the Rev. Eddie Brewer officiating. Burial in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Andy, Stan, and Tim Chapman, Tim Dover, Gene Long, and Lamar Wilson. Honorary pallbearers: Gene Moore and Donald Woodard. The family will receive friends from 12-1:45 Saturday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville prior to the services. The family requests memorials be made to the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Fred Hogsed, 2496 Clovis Drive, Hiawassee, GA 30546.
